This elegant colt was born during a huge rainstorm and NOT in the barn. Thank goodness he made it through the 7.5″ deluge! His sire is our beautiful palomino overo stallion and his dam is a long time favorite who is the daughter of 26′ Little America Silver Tornado. Top Hat is an outstanding example of a Medicine Hat, one of my favorite pinto patterns!
This beautiful colt will make a wonderful youth, amateur or even open show horse either as a colt or gelding. For a small herd, he would be a wonderful addition as a stallion too. Very small, colorful, refined and gentle. He was on display at Austin Rodeo for three weeks in March of 2019 and was a favorite of the crowds attending the Breed Parade!
For the many of us for whom pedigree is very important, Top Hat is TOP SHELF with a pedigree of historical significance with Gold Melody Boy appearing 5 times, Rowdy, 3. Also a large number of 30″ and under ancestors such as Dipper’s Duffy and the foundations of our TINY program, Little America’s 007 Rowdy Tornado 27″, Little America Silver Tornado 26″. Also World Champions Boone’s Little Buckeroo and Crescent’s Double O Seven and a Half “Moto”.
