This unusual colt has blue eyes and looks like he may be a Perlino or Silver Buckskin in color.  It is hard to know at this time.

Superman’s dam goes back to the little World Champion, McCrae’s Mr G G, 25.75″, twice.  Also goes back to Del’s Little Man, J J’s Little Macho, and the first World Champion Stallion, Texan’s Big Bad John.

On the top side, his sire boasts the likes of National Grand Champions Lazy N Boogerman, Hemlock Brook Egyptian King, Yellow Diamonds Moonlight, and National and Reserve Champions Flying W Little Blue Boy and NFC Egyptian King Top Account. In addition, Rowdy and Boone’s Little Andy.

This was the most highly anticipated foal of the season as we were hoping for a repeat of last year’s colt (see below). We purchased Allure specifically to breed to PQ right after she won Reserve World Champion Senior Mare 28″ and Under at the 2014 AMHA World Show. Her bloodline is that of AMHA royalty with such names as NFC’s Remarkable Rowdy, Rowdy (3 times), Sierra Dawn Uno de Mayo, Lazy N Redboy, and NFC Rowdy’s Champion.

If that weren’t enough, PQ is THREE TIME World Champion by the fantastic who is already a legend on his own. Additionally, he boasts of First Knight’s Breaking all the Rules, First Knight’s Bit o Hot Shot, Runnin’ Bare Rowdy’s Heiress, Lazy N Boogerman, Rowdy and many other World Champion and Reserve Champions.

Watch for this tiny guy in the show ring later this year where he will hopefully live up to his ancestry!

Full brother, Little America’s Idol’s PQ El Dorado.  In only two showings this 26″ yearling has garnered three Reserve Championships.

Lightning has the most interesting blaze.  Guess we could have named her Blaze of Lightening.  Others suggested Miss Harry Potter, but we decided on Lightening Fox.  She is a full sister to one of our show fillies (pictured below) who was World Top Ten in Multi Color Mares in 2018.  This filly will likely get more color as she ages, as many of our solid app bred horses do.

Here’s one example of color change.  Little America’s Skipper X from yearling to adulthood.  He showed no signs of app coloration as a foal:

This pretty little colt looks like he got carried away with “clown white”, a make-up actors and clowns use regularly.  He drew a pretty wide blaze, almost a bald face, then a mark over his right eye and got distracted and didn’t finish his makeup!  Very flashy guy who should get judges’ attention in the show ring and may be a beautiful performance horse

Venus has produced some of our tiniest miniature foals.  This one joins the list with one of the tiniest heads I have ever seen.  Tiny Easter was 16″ tall and weighed 13.6 pounds!  One of her tiny daughters was AMHA Top Ten as a weanling and was the smallest foal at the World Show.  Another, Fandango, is in Nova Scotia and is also really tiny.

She has a pretty blazed face with a couple of socks and elegant long legs.  She definitely will be one to consider.  Last year Overo proved to be an exceptional sire, but unfortunately we lost him recently so are keeping back a couple of his colts as possible replacements.
