This little one was named for our recent trip to NYC where we saw both of our daughters. Named for the Big Apple, NYC is a tiny black and white who is bred to be one of the tiny ones! His sire, a homozygous for pinto is a sought after sire and is one of the leaders of our tiniest miniatures. NYC’s dam, Locket, is out of one of our tiniest show mares, Little America’s Kewpie Tornado 26.5″ (see below) and was by 27.5″ Melton’s Tornado’s Whirling Thunder.
NYC’s sire was by Reserve World Champion Amateur Stallion Little America’s Sterling Fantastic 27.75″ and traces back to Bond Dynamo, Orion-Light Van’t Huttenest, Komoko’s Little Champ and many other tiny foundations of the AMHA. His entire pedigree traces back to an amazing 56 miniatures UNDER 30″!!! Junior’s dam is our smallest mare at 25.5″!
